Who we are

This policy covers the mobile game Blockfall: Line Cascade, published by Roinfo (“we”, “us”). It applies to the Android and iOS apps.

Questions, privacy requests, and account deletion requests go to support.roinfo@gmail.com.

Information we collect

You can play a full game without creating an account and without giving us your name or email address. We do not ask for your real name, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or payment details. The game has no in-app purchases.

Account and leaderboard

Leaderboards are optional. If you choose Create account or Log in, we collect:

  • Username — 3 to 20 letters, numbers, or underscores. This is the name other players see on Daily, Weekly, and Lifetime boards.
  • Password — used only to sign you in. It is not shown on the leaderboard.
  • Scores — daily points, weekly points, and your all-time best single run, plus an internal user id so the correct row can be updated.

Scores are saved on the device and uploaded in the background while you are signed in, including when the app moves to the background. A failed upload is retried later. Logging out hides the boards on that device. It does not delete the account.

Stored on your device

The app keeps game progress in local storage on the phone or tablet. This stays on the device unless you are signed in, in which case leaderboard totals are also uploaded. Local data includes:

  • Best score, games finished, lines cleared, and the day streak (based on the device calendar).
  • A saved run: the board, the falling piece, the next pieces, score, combo, and level.
  • Settings: sound, haptics, and ghost preview.
  • Your signed-in user id and username, so you stay logged in.
  • A cached copy of remote game settings, such as whether ads are enabled.

Settings → Reset data clears that local progress and, if you are signed in, sends zero scores to the leaderboard. It does not delete the account. Uninstalling the app removes the local copy.

Advertising

The game shows ads through Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads): a banner on the home screen, full-screen ads at natural breaks, an app-open ad when you return to the home screen, and an optional rewarded ad to continue one run. There is no paid way to remove ads.

Google and its partners may collect or receive device and advertising data, which can include the advertising identifier, IP address, coarse device information, ad interactions, and diagnostics. Where required, the app asks for consent through Google’s User Messaging Platform before requesting ads. You can change ad personalization in your device settings and, where shown, in the consent choices.

Google’s policy is at policies.google.com/privacy. How Google uses data from apps that use its advertising services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Other network use

  • Remote settings. The app may request a configuration file so we can turn ads on or off and supply ad placement settings. That request identifies the app, not your leaderboard username.
  • Promoted apps. The home screen can load a list of other apps to show in a “Promoted” carousel. Opening one takes you to that app’s store page.
  • Rate us. The store’s review dialog is provided by Google Play or the App Store. We store only a local flag so we do not ask too often. We do not receive the text of your review.
  • Spoken praise. Words such as “Great!” are spoken with the device’s own text-to-speech. We do not receive a recording of your voice.

What we do not collect

We do not collect an email address or phone number when you create a leaderboard account. We do not use a separate analytics or crash-reporting SDK of our own. We do not sell your personal information.

How we use information

Data Why
Username and password Create your account, sign you in, and show your name on the leaderboard.
Scores Rank Daily, Weekly, and Lifetime boards, and restore your best when you sign in on a device.
On-device progress Continue a run, remember settings, and show your stats and day streak.
Ad and device data Show and measure ads, honor consent choices, and prevent invalid traffic. This is handled by Google.
Support emails Answer you and process deletion or privacy requests.

Who can see it

Your username and leaderboard scores are visible to other players who open the leaderboard. Your password is not.

We share information with service providers only as needed to run the game:

  • Our leaderboard service, which stores accounts and scores.
  • Google, for AdMob advertising, consent messaging, and store features such as in-app review.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect players from fraud and abuse. We do not sell accounts or scores.

Children

Blockfall: Line Cascade is a casual puzzle game for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Please do not create a leaderboard account if you are under 13. If you believe a child has given us a username, email support.roinfo@gmail.com and we will delete that account.

How long we keep it

  • Leaderboard account — kept until you ask us to delete it, or until we close the service.
  • Scores — daily and weekly totals reset on the UTC schedule shown in the app. The lifetime best stays until the account is deleted or you reset data while signed in.
  • On-device data — kept until you reset it in Settings, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall.
  • Support email — kept long enough to complete your request and keep a short record that it was handled.
  • Advertising data — kept by Google under its own retention rules.

Your choices

  • Skip the account. Play, local bests, and settings do not require sign-in.
  • Log out from the leaderboard header. Puzzle progress on the device stays.
  • Reset data in Settings to wipe local stats and, if you are signed in, upload zero scores. This cannot be undone from inside the app, and it does not delete the username.
  • Ads. Use the consent form when it is shown, and your device’s advertising settings, to limit personalized ads. Ads may still appear.
  • Delete the account. Follow the steps on the account deletion page. We delete the username, password, and leaderboard scores from our server.

To ask for a copy of the leaderboard data we hold, or to correct a username problem, email support.roinfo@gmail.com with your username.

Security

Account and score traffic is sent over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. Choose a password you do not use on other sites, and do not share it. Usernames are public on the leaderboard, so avoid using your real name or email as a username.

Where data is processed

You use the app on your device. If you sign in, or if ads and remote settings load, information is sent to our servers and to Google. Those servers may be in a country other than yours, where data-protection rules can differ. We use this information only for the purposes in this policy.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version at this address and update the effective date. Continued use of the app after the new date means you accept the updated policy. If a change affects leaderboard accounts in an important way, we will also describe it in the app or by a notice on this page when we reasonably can.
