Who we are

The App is a casual puzzle game, published for Android under the game name MergeSprint: 2048 Merge Game. You can play as a guest. You may optionally create a player profile so your username and weekly score can appear on a leaderboard.

We do not require your real name, email address, phone number, or payment details to play.

By installing or using the App, you agree to this policy. Questions go to support.roinfo@gmail.com.

Information we collect

On your device

Board, score, streaks, badges — never uploaded.

Optional profile

Username, password, weekly score — sent only if you sign up.

Advertising

Ad ID and device info, handled by Google's AdMob.

2.1 Stored only on your device

The following is saved locally on your device (for example with on-device preferences) so the game can resume and remember your progress:

  • Current board, score, best score, and booster counts
  • Daily streak progress and unlocked badges
  • A local personal score list
  • Optional profile session data (user ID and username) after you create or restore a profile
  • Simple UI choices, such as dismissing a prompt

Lifetime best score and daily streak are not uploaded to our servers. Uninstalling the App, or clearing the App's data, deletes this local information.

2.2 Optional player profile

Gameplay works without an account. If you choose Create profile or sign in, we send the following to our game backend

  • The username you choose
  • The password you set
  • Your account user ID (assigned by the server)
  • Your weekly score, so it can appear on the weekly leaderboard
  • Username availability checks while you type a new name

We do not collect an email address for this profile. Your username and weekly score may be shown to other players on the weekly leaderboard, and theirs may be shown to you. Passwords are sent to the backend only to create or restore your profile — never used for advertising.

2.3 Advertising

The App shows ads (banner, interstitial, and rewarded video) through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect:

  • Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID)
  • Device and app information (device type, OS version, app version)
  • IP address and approximate network information
  • Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, whether a rewarded ad was completed)

The App requests non-personalized ads from AdMob. Google's own systems may still process technical data as described in Google's policies. Watching a rewarded ad may unlock in-game boosters — that reward is granted in the game only; we do not sell your personal information for it.

2.4 Sharing a streak badge

If you tap share on a streak badge, the App creates an image on your device and opens your device's share sheet. You choose where it goes. We do not upload that image to our servers. The destination app you pick has its own privacy policy.

What we do not collect

  • Real name, email, phone number, or physical address
  • Precise or approximate location from GPS
  • Contacts, photos, camera, or microphone (except an image you choose to share yourself)
  • Payment or financial information
  • Health, fitness, or sensitive personal data
  • Analytics or crash-reporting SDKs of our own (no Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics)
3

How we use information

We use information only to:

  • Run the game, save progress, and restore your session on this device
  • Create or restore an optional player profile
  • Show weekly leaderboard standings for claimed profiles
  • Show ads and grant rewarded-ad boosters
  • Let you share a badge you created
  • Operate, secure, and fix the App

We do not sell your personal information.

How we share information

We share information only as follows:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the App, our users, or our rights.

Third-party services

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)

Google's advertising services are governed by Google's policies, including the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

You can reset or limit your advertising ID in Android settings (typically Settings → Privacy / Google → Ads).

6

Children's privacy

The App is a general-audience puzzle game. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the App shows ads and offers an optional account, it is intended for users old enough to use those features under applicable law (typically 13+, or 16+ in some regions).

If you believe a child has provided information through a profile, contact us and we will delete it where we can.

7

Data retention

  • On-device data stays until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.
  • Optional profile and weekly scores stay on the game backend while the account is used for leaderboards. Contact us if you want a profile or weekly score removed.
  • Ad data is retained by Google according to Google's policies.

There is no in-app logout. A profile session is stored on the device after you create or restore it.

8

Security

We use HTTPS for profile, score, and leaderboard requests. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Do not reuse an important password as your game password. We never ask for your real-world identity.

9

Your choices and rights

You can:

  • Play as a guest without creating a profile
  • Decline to watch rewarded ads (boosters that require an ad will not unlock)
  • Reset or opt out of ads personalization in Android settings
  • Stop sharing by not using the share button
  • Uninstall the App or clear App data to remove local saves
  • Email us to request access, correction, or deletion of a cloud profile we hold

Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights such as access, erasure, restriction, or objection. To exercise them, email support.roinfo@gmail.com.

10

International processing

If you create a profile or see ads, information may be processed on servers in other countries, including by Google. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than yours.

11

Changes

We may update this policy when the App or the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes will be reflected at this same URL.
